Handcrafted Ceramics Rooted in Scandinavian Design Traditions

Lars' work is deeply rooted in the Scandinavian design tradition. His pieces have clean geometrical forms accentuated with playful decorations. Lars hand casts all his products in porcelain clay, a process that demands both precision and dedication.

To Lars, the design process is an interaction between the ceramic material and the idea. It's not about controlling the ceramic material but about providing a framework in which it can flourish.

Lars graduated from the Jutland Art Academy in 2001 and has worked on numerous art and design projects - always with ceramics playing a key role. Since 2004 Lars has been designing and producing high-quality ceramic products for the home in his studio in Copenhagen.
