Nordstjerne puts the environment first in both materials and production. The popular folded ornaments have been launched in a sustainable version. The SUSTAIN ornaments are made from Katran, a 100% bio-degradable material, handmade by upcycling cotton fabric waste of the cotton industry, with string made from Musa, a curated bio-leather which is a 100% bio-degradable material made out of banana fiber blended with wool.
